Creating Hackweek Web Game with Unity for Small Things
Dude, where is my luggage? » Devlog
The goal of this project was to build a Unity game optimized for the web using Unity for Small Things components (https://unity.com/unity/features/unity-for-small-things) at our annual Unity Hackweek. This was also the first year we invited talented game developers to hack alongside Unity employees, many who we met through the Women in Gaming initiative.
The airline lost the luggage of one of the team members, so luggage became the theme. We developed original art and sound content, as well as coded with the Unity Entity Component System (https://unity3d.com/unity/features/job-system-ECS), which is a new way for developing high-performance games in Unity.
This is our initial version of the game.
